Course description
This timed footrace begins at 9:00 a.m. at the YMCA of Harrison County at 198 Jenkins Ct. NE in Corydon. The course is an accurate five-mile route on Indian Creek Trail, crossing a historic truss bridge while following Indian Creek through Hayswood Nature Reserve and the town of Corydon. The course is “lollipop” style, with a two-mile out-and-back section plus a one-mile loop, including half a mile of gravel trail. The course is primarily flat with three moderate hills. There will be two water stops. Participants are welcome to turn around early if they choose, with the understanding this will remove them from the competition portion of the event. Here is the course map.
